Duncan Fischer graduated with a BscHonors in Physiotherapy in 2020 from the University of Witwatersrand. Duncan then worked a year in government in Africa’s biggest hospital Chris Hanni Baragwanath Academic Hospital and then been in the musculoskeletal private sector practice since 2022 until his permanent move to Ireland.

Duncan Has come from a background in multiple sports when growing up and now predominantly focuses on Hockey. Duncan was a prominent hockey player in South Africa playing within the Junior national teams ranks playing at the highest level within South Africa.

Duncan has always had a passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy since he started his journey as physiotherapist and been involved with multiple sporting teams from the helping out with the South African Men’s hockey teams, sideline work with local school rugby and hockey teams and now working within the Irish Junior Hockey boys set up.

Duncan is keen to continue his musculoskeletal work within DBC Belfield allowing him to positively change the outcome of each of his patient that he sees from the general public to the professional athlete with evidence based musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
