Jamie Stone

Jamie is Chartered Physiotherapist and CORU registered. He graduated from the Southeast Technology University in 2022 with a first-class honour in Athletic Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation BSc (Hons).

Jamie then completed a master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University College Cork. Throughout the last number of years, Jamie has obtained extensive experience working in different hospital environments.

Since completion of his degree, he has worked in private practice clinics treating an array of musculoskeletal conditions through evidence-based practice. In addition to his clinical experience, Jamie has worked in elite sporting environments with Cork City F.C, Cobh Ramblers F.C, and Offaly GAA to name a few. Jamie is currently the head physiotherapist for the Offaly men’s senior football team.

Jamies keen interest include spinal pain, post-operative rehabilitation, return to performance, and tendinopathies. He seeks an interest in adolescent injuries, completing a dissertation on overuse injuries among youth athletes centred around  OsgoodSchlatter Disease. He has also completed research in line with his master’s degree on strategies for managing chronic musculoskeletal
pain.
