Nikita Polakovs
Nikita, born in Latvia before moving to Ireland at the age of two, achieved an honours degree in physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2023. Prior to this he achieved an honours degree in Sport and Exercise management from University College Dublin in 2019.
Nikita has previously worked in older person rehabilitation focusing on orthopaedics, care of the elderly and neurology. As such, Nikita has particular interest in these areas. As well as this, Nikita is involved in physiotherapy for tennis in the form of injury prevention and community based initiatives to promote health and wellbeing through tennis.
In his free time Nikita actively competes in national level tennis leagues and tournaments, and casually participates in five a side football and more recently has been enjoying running with an aim of completing half marathons and marathons in the coming years.
