Oran Hayes
Oran received his BSc in Athletic Therapy from Dublin City University in 2023. As a Certified Athletic Therapist he specialises in the athletic population with experience in treating rugby, hurling, hockey, Gaelic football and soccer players.
In DBC, Oran is responsible for treating UCD RFC (rugby) and AFC (soccer) players as well as the Ad Astra Elite Athlete Academy. In 2024, he was pitchside Athletic Therapist for the UCD U20 All Ireland Winning rugby team and Kilmacud Crokes Senior Football team. He was also the Athletic Therapist for Pembroke Hockey Club during their 2023/2024 promotion season to EY1. Previously, Oran has worked with Lansdowne RFC, Wesley College Senior Cup team, and St Judes GAA Club.He combines strength & movement testing with evidence based treatment techniques to facilitate optimal injury recovery.
In his spare time, he is an avid hurler for Kilmacud Crokes and enjoys playing golf. Outside of sports he enjoys travelling and learning.
